Unable to view view local folders

One of our user reconfigured the email account in zimbra desktop and after reconfiguration the user realized that the local folder were not available, when check on the user system we are able to see the folder, but those folders are available on the system with large no of files with extension .msg , how can we import the data in zimbra Desktop, we were unable to find any article for the same
