Hey

Can attachments only be saved and deleted?
Employees have reported to me that they can not open and see what is in them, they only need to save and then open it, which generates more work and is non-functional.
Is it also possible to open attachments?

If you click on attachment link(filename) then it will save the attachment and it will be opened automatically in appropriate application chosen by OS.
However file would be downloaded (we can not skip that part with new framework we are using)

ps. With webmail it works as I click on the name of the attachment, and ZD does not work...

Hmmmmmh,

sounds at first practicable but is not a very good idea:

1. The "auto-Download" fills the selected folder with lots of downloaded attachments. You have it to clean out from time to time.

KDE Contact handles this in a WAY better manner:
Attachments where downloaded to the /tmp directory and opened from there by the standard app for the file without any need of interaction. No save or any other action is required. This will be the right way to handle attachments

2. No printing of plain text and HTML mails in zdestop 7.3.1. Always an Java error stated in a separate forums post.

For now back on 7.3.0

For cleaning the folder I have del.bat, so no problem
I do not have any printing errors for text or html
The problem is that employees are accustomed to this mode of work
The web client works, but not in the ZD
As someone will have some solution then please help
