Zimbra Desktop is unable to synch... multiple times,daily

Since upgrading to 8.8.8 I get frequent error messages that I am unable to sync with the ZCS. Sometimes these resolve on their own, but more often than not I need to restart the server.

I type in the password and get a Invalid password message even if I reset the password and enter the new password. Restarting ZDS does not appear to fix it.

I have seen others have the same error, but no resolution.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
