The desktop updated itself this morning to (Iguess) 1482. Viewing my Yahoo Plus inbox via the web shows messages that the desktop didn't see for hours. The E.T. (green) light caption says last sun 12:30pm but the message from 10:30am are still not showing. E.T. runs several minutes when I press the Send/Receive button and still no new messages.
There is a nice message from E.T. in the log:

email not syncing with 1482
I'm using zdesktop v1.0 build 1513 and am experiencing the same problem.
It worked fine for several weeks, but now it suddenly doesn't retrieve any messages anymore from my imap account.
Each time I click the send/receive button, nothing is retrieved and a new message is added to a folder called "Error Reports" with the following content:

Why does this post end without any details? Were you able to fix this? What was the problem?
email not syncing with 1482
Do you really expect a reply on this more than six year old thread about a ZD version that's long since disappeared?
email not syncing with 1482
Yes, in fact, I simply wish people would take the time to come back and close their threads. What is the point of having forums with questions only and people don't come back to provide additional details.
I'm having the exact same problem that this OLD thread is showing so yes, some answers would have been helpful.

I understand the frustration but bumping six year old threads doesn't do much with, as I've already mentioned, a long outdated version of ZD which may not be relevant to your current version. It's possible the o/p never resolved the issue or simply forgot to reply, in any case you should not bump old threads but post questions with full details of your specific problems.

LOL, your reply actually means 'I simply feel the need to chastise you for looking for an answer'.
Who gives a crap if this is an old post??? I came across it while TRYING to find an answer. If someone would have posted one, it might have helped me and it makes me wonder how many others have this problem who come across this useless post. Useless, until now assuming they read to the end.
As I already told you, it's the SAME problem no matter which versions because it was never fixed. Fixed or, maybe it's the only way, I don't know, I'm not a developer.
Anyhow, for those who will come across this, there is at this time (July 2015) only one way to fix the problem. You have to delete the accounts in your client, re-create them and your client will be in sync again. Before you delete your account, just create however many temp folders you need (if you have more than one email account), move all the stuff you don't want to lose to your temp accounts, delete old, re-create, sync, then move the stuff you wanted to keep back to which ever account/s it belongs to.
I even hired a Zimbra pro to help me with this problem and he too was kind of frustrated that after all these years, the fix is the same.
