Has anyone found a workaround that ACTUALLY WORKS for this? The purported solution posted on ubuntu forums doesn't work, as is confirmed on bugzilla.zimbra.com. Why was it even posted if it hadn't been successfully tested?
It seems more than somewhat strange that a Zimbra app that purports to be "free open source" won't run on a modern Linux system. After all, 64bit has been with us for a few years now.

We have fixed this in 7.3 release. With 7.3 you will get ZD which runs on 64-bit Linux without any workaround.

Thank you but when will ZD 7.3 be released, even in beta?

Good news! Thank you! My ISP provides free webmail using a Zimbra platform and I have several email accounts. It will be great to be able to synchronize them and their calendars in one place on the desktop.
Will keep checking back periodically.
