ZD fails to start with error "Unable to create anchor file"

Need some help getting Zimbra Desktop set up and working?

ZD fails to start with error "Unable to create anchor file"

This is on a Win10 64-bit laptop
ZD 64 bit installed OK with no complaints.
Attempted to start ZD and got the zimbra desktop service error "Unable to create anchor file". On clicking OK, I got the NW.js error
"This site cannot be reached
127.0.0.1 refused to connect .... ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"

Huh ? This is the loopback address !
The laptop was on the internet at the time (I was connected via a Teamviewer remote session) and the network config is simple and doesn't use a proxy.

Can someone tell me what is going on and how to fix this please?

I have the identical problem running 7.3.1 on Win 10 Pro 64-bit. Any answers out there?

Same problem from today. Has anyone solved this?

I encountered into this error today. On Windows, the only way to fix the problem was to go inside the AppData user folder and remove Zimbra and zimbra-desktop folders in Local .

At that point ZD started, the bad thing is that I had to reconfigure all my accounts that luckly were all IMAP.
