Dumping 6 years of old e-mails

I recently got a notice that I was reaching my quota for e-mail and when I looked I found that I had 138,000 e-mails dating back to 2014. It is tedious to dump them 1300 at a time. Is there a way to delete everything prior to a certain date?

You could try with the Enable Message Disposal in the folder properties:

Zimbra will automatically run the purge of the old messages.

Or an instant deleting : search and destroy.
Using the search option with a starting date and an ending date.
