ZCS 8.5 EWS + 3rd Party MDM

Has anyone integrated ZCS with a 3rd Party MDM?
I'm using the 3rd party MDM because it allows us to containerize mail/contacts/calendars and do a selective (enterprise data) wipe.

I am trying to setup a connector that asks for an Exchange URL but it keeps failing trying to connect to my ZCS.

On my production server we are only running 7.2 but I just downloaded 8.5 in a VM with a trial key of 50 (EwsAccountsLimit=50).

I think the request is failing because it is trying to use powershell scripts to connect.
