Z-Push Default Ports Change

Post by johncassell »

Hi, I'm about to set this up and can see from tutorials (I'm reading this one here - http://imanudin.net/2014/11/11/how-to-e ... imbra-ose/) that Z-Push runs on port 80. Is it possible to get it to run on a different port and if so, how?

Thanks
John

Z-Push is just a collection of PHP pages served up by Apache usually. it will run on any port that you configure Apache to run on. The major issue to keep in mind is that most phones will not allow you to configure a custom port number to connect to - they mostly just allow you to switch on/off SSL which limits you to 80/443
