Separate address list in mobile device? How to?

Post by Javier Garcia Alarcon »

Hello everyone.
When Zimbra syncs contacts , it makes mixing them with those already existing in the mobile phone.
Is there any way to separate contacts zimbra , coming from work, existing contacts on the mobile user and that are personal ? This would be to have two contact lists , personal mobile and Zimbra .
We talk about Android and IOS .
Greetings and thanks.

You haven't mentioned how you're synchronizing the mail/contacts with your phone. On my Android app there's an option to sync contacts on the phone as well as the app or you can disable it and just sync with the phone app - does your app not have such an option in it's settings?

hello
Yes, youre right. I forgot say how i was syncing... well... account is set as exchanmge account as zimbra suggest in https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Mob ... or_Android
I would want to have two address books in the telephone... one for my contacts and another for work contacts synced by zimbra :-)
Best regards

I'm not sure that the Android Exchange sync allows you to have two separate address books on the phone, I believe it's only one address book.
