zimbra talk install failed

Hi,

I've followed correctly (I think) the install doc (this one : https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/How_to_Install_Zimbra_Talk) but I see errors in this end of install script :

When I try to confirm DNS Entries are corrects :

user@server$ sudo /usr/share/ztalk/libexec/check_talk_dns.sh
/usr/share/ztalk/libexec/check_talk_dns.sh: Error: /etc/zimbra-talk/dnsmasq.conf not found

No file found...

I've done twice this installation from scratch.
My certificates are commercial are following the ztalk install log, no problem to read it.

Any idea ?

Maybe the install script has a bug.
It seems that a site is created in nginx with a crt and key file location wrong (/etc/ssl/localhost.key & /etc/ssl/localhost.crt). Thoses files doesn't exists before and after the script. The certificate&key file are copied to /etc/zimbra-talk.
Any idea script master ?

Do you have already the DNS zone working, before install Zimbra Talk? With all the needed DNS records?
Where did you had your .key and .crt files, in which directory?

Do you think you can run again the installer, and add the screenshots?

Thanks for reply.

Now it seems that the installation works now. (not sure, btw).

1°) installation from scratch ; install failed with errors as described above.
2°) modify /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/localhost.conf to point to good crt and key (same directory has asked in the install process ; in my case key in /etc/ssl/private/key.key and crt and chains in /etc/ssl/myowncrt/crt.crt
3°) installation (same script) ; install finshied without errors. More files are added to /etc/zimbra-talk. The only site in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/ is zimbra-talk file. And certificates are like that :
ssl_certificate /etc/zimbra-talk/ztalk-ssl-cert.pem;
ssl_certificate_key /etc/zimbra-talk/ztalk-ssl-cert.key;

I don't really know if the installation is totally ok.

But here is what I can say

> Zimbra Talk tab appears in ZCS (mail.myzimbra.com)
> I can reach xmpp.myzimbra.com (zimbra talk server) and SSL is green/ok (wildcard commercial cert)
> interface is just in english (no french localisation except jitsi interface - conference room)
> sharing desktop doesn't work (however zimbra talk screensharing is correctly installed in Chrome lastest version)

During the installation, I have selected that zimbra talk wasn't behind a nat/firewall. Which is half true.

Zimbra Talk (ZT) isn't behind a firewall for ZCS ; same subnet
ZT and ZCS are behind a nat/firewall for external clients.
What is excepted in this classical configuration when you prompt "Is ZT behind a firewall ?".

I've very surprised how difficult seems to be the installation where ZCS has always be a piece of cake.

What do you think ?

(By the way, we have installed 15 times now from scratch the Zimbra Talk in a lot of different situation and several parameters)

We are always improving the installation method, it's a bit complex as it's a Video-communicating system which relies in two of the pain points out there, a perfect DNS configuration, a SSL configuration. Our top cases in Zimbra always are about SSL or DNS issues, so with Zimbra Talk, is the same

We need to whitelist your FQDN of your Zimbra Talk in order to make work the official Zimbra Talk Screensharing Chrome app, or you can build yours if you want.

I have a wildcard ssl for *.example.com. and I need talk installer domain named as "talk.example.com". Can you please give my few pointers
