[SOLVED] Chat always collapsed?

Hello, we have just installed Zimbra 8.7.9 and enabled Chat for all users. When zimbra webmail opens up, the chat client is collapsed, and we did not find a way to open it up

I tried to add a couple of contacts, but the chat remains collapsed. Are we missing something?

Hello Jorge,
we tried single and double clicks on the blue bar but no luck, it remains collapsed. We tried with Firefox and Chrome. :(

Hello 7224jobe,
It seems the chat is not started correctly.
On the first try, do You used the "View Mail" button in the admin interface to reach the account?
Please can take a look at the mailbox.log to see if there are exceptions?

Hello Bud, your hint solved our problem!...Since we have not already switched to the new 8.7.9 server in production, we viewed web mail using "view mail" from admin console. We tried to login directly from a single user webmail and the chat popup opened up. Thanks!

The OpenChat Zimlet will detect if is a "legitimate" login to protect the user privacy. ;)
