Does it bring or not bring chat version 8.8.12?

Hi, I have installed version 8.8.12 opensource in Centos 7 .. it works fine .. but I have a doubt .. does this version have or does it not include chat by default? What should I do to enable it? or is it advisable to use the zextras?

Hello,
Yes, Zimbra 8.8 comes with Chat. Did you install zimbra-chat when running the install script?
If you are using the NE edition, it's recommended to install zimbra-talk, even if you don't have Talk license so you can use just the chat which is free.

no ... do not enable the chat option when installing zimbra ...
What can I do now to have the chat in the opensource version?

I think you could just install zimbra-chat package.

Thank you for your response ... in the end we decided to use the zextras ... it is less problematic and the installation was easy and fast ..
