Good morning all,

We've published the second beta for 8.8.0 at https://info.zimbra.com/try-zcs-8.8-beta.

Please note: while the install will state that you will be upgrading from Beta1 to "GA" (zcs-8.8.0_GA_1753), you will still be installing the second beta release for 8.8.0 as we progress towards a production ready release. As usual, please do not deploy this beta in production environments. We will not be providing technical support for this beta.

If you find any issues in this beta, please open an bug at https://bugzilla.zimbra.com and tag the issue with the keyword "8_8_0_Beta_2" and we'll take a look. For any other issues/questions, please reach out to me directly.

Michael

Hi ZS-Man,
We are testing the 8.8 beta2 build with the new UI, as soon as we have the links, we will add them into the Thank you page as well.

Best regards

OK, thanks, looking for new build :-)

I found another problem. Every time I open ZimbraDrive, Nextcloud(12) send me email:
Your email address on https://cloud.domain.cz/ was changed by an administrator.
If you did not request this, please contact an administrator.
The new email address is user@domain.cz
user@domain.cz is my right address and is still same.

Bug or my bad config?
Thanks.

And my previous problem with non-english characters still persists ( https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=108132 )

HI,

I think, that your issue stmems fromt he fact, that ZimbraDrive cannot cope with an already configured Next/owncloud instance. Upon first use, it will try to create a new user account on your NC12 and since it will configure your e-mail address into it NC sends out a warning.

This has been already noted in the Zimbra Drive forum and to us this is a serious shortcoming of Zimbra Drive in a production environment.

Cheers,
budy
