Seconded, with some clarification:



I think the default font size for body text is just fine. However, the subject headings (h3 elements) have a font size that is beyond absurd, combined with a font and a weight that makes them almost painful to read at that scale. In the topic list for a forum, the height of the text causes what should be a short list of topics to turn into a monstrous list on a standard HD monitor.



(Hint: Using slightly larger bold text may be better than simply scaling up the normal font to absurd levels.)



Might want to get back to the design team with a suggested reading list of typography sites, like these:

The second link I included above did come back with an interesting comment - headline sizes have increased dramatically since 2009. Things like that may get the point across when you're serving up editorial pieces like Quartz or Medium - but they really have no place on a discussion forum where all topics need to be given equal weight.
