I stand corrected. The meat of the document is actually in the comments, as they were originally comments in the original post on the old forum.
When viewing on the old forum, I hadn't noticed that each section was a comment on it's own and it was easy to miss because most of it was displayed on a single page.
Apologies.
However, my other comments still stand.

No apology is necessary, I didn't realise they were comments. I'd agree with your other comments but I don't expect any improvement to the state of imported forum data in the short term (if at all).

I would say that ability to view posts from a specific user, watch or subscribe to posts or user (for future updates), and get email updates on any new updates to a post would be really important to any tech support forum. I believe that the email notification feature is already present here by default.
