So if we're still running 7.1, I should do as the original comment suggested?

After running:

[zimbra@mta2 root]$ /opt/zimbra/zimbramon/bin/sa-update

I still get:

[zimbra@mta1 root]$ grep AHBL /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/*

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf:header DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL eval:check_rbl_envfrom('ahbl', 'rhsbl.ahbl.org.')

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf:describe DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL Envelope sender listed in dnsbl.ahbl.org

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf:tflags DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL net

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/20_dnsbl_tests.cf:reuse DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/30_text_de.cf:lang de describe DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL Absenderadresse in Liste von dnsbl.ahbl.org

/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/50_scores.cf:score DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL 0 2.438 0 2.699 # n=0 n=2

Don't forget to do this on all your servers, if you are using Zimbra proxies for example :)

Hi Mike,

please see my post on the previous page:

---
AHBL will be disabled by automatic rule updating (available since Zimbra 8.0.5) if automatic rule updating has been manually enabled by issuing the following commands as the Zimbra user:

zmlocalconfig -e antispam_enable_rule_updates=true
zmlocalconfig -e antispam_enable_restarts=true
zmamavisdctl restart
zmmtactl restart (on our servers, "restart" failed with postfix, so I used "reload" instead)
zmsaupdate
---

So if you are using any version before 8.0.5, you will have to manually comment the AHBL lines in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/50_scores.cf and restart Zimbra afterwards.

Best regards,
Christian

Hi all,

maybe I am missing the obvious... I have one ZCS 8.0.7 server running. I enabled antispam_enable_rule_updates and antispam_enable_restarts. Then I start /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsaupdate (as user zimbra).

zmsaupte runs a few seconds and downloads rules to /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/updates_spamassassin_org

But all rules in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin remain unchanged.... So what now? Rules in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/updates_spamassassin_org are not read by spamassassin ?!?

What I am supposed to do now? Should I manually copy the new rules into /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/ ?

Regards

Thomas
