we hope to migrate 2000 user mailbox(mbox ) from the existing mail server "Send mail" with data size 3TB to zimbra open source 8.0.6
We dont need to reset the users password.
i search in the wiki and forum about imapsync, all the solution require to reset the users passwords
are there any Solution to do that

Sendmail isn't a full email server - its just a mail transfer agent (MTA)/SMTP server.
What is your actual mail server where your user accounts are stored?
If you don't have your user's passwords, there are only a couple ways of doing this. Here is what we did:
- Our previous server and Zimbra were both setup to use central authentication (LDAP)
- Our previous server and Zimbra both allowed user accounts to have a local password in addition to the external authentication (but users did not use/access the system with the local authentication password, those were set to random bogus passwords).
- when migrating a user account, a script set the local password to a random password (which did not affect the external authentication) on both the source system and the destination Zimbra server.
- the imapsync was then accomplished with the local password.
Alternatively if you don't use a central LDAP server for authentication, you could set one up and reverse the process I outlined (where users know their local Zimbra password but not the LDAP password).
