Rich text editor and changing selected text attributes

Post by phoenix »

Using the rich text editor I sometimes modify the font or colour of text while I'm composing a reply, if I modify the colour (this happens with other attributes) it actually modifies all text from that point onwards when I want to continue in the original colour/font or other normal attributes. This behaviour seems counter intuitive for me, does anyone else find this a problem can this be changed?
Regards

Bill

Bill, this is exactly how I'd expect it to work. MS Word works the same way. If I change the color of one word mid composition, of course the text will continue on in that color or emphasis. If you want to highlight some text with color, you go back in after you have finished composing.
