Just that really - I load the .ovf template as instructed in the instructions using the default settings and then all I get is a flashing cursor.
Powering the VM off and on has no effect and neither does deleting and re--loading.
If it matters this is an ML110 G7 server with 32GB of RAM and 1.5TB Raid 5 94 x 750GB SAS ) seem by ESXi 5.1 as one drive
Are there any settings to check?
The ESXi server it can "see" the domain controllers here , the gateway and its own domain entry
All help would be good before we move on to Open Exchange

This is a user supported forum, if and nobody knows how to help, most won't respond. I use ESXi 5 free for my Zimbra install, but I've never delt with the Zimbra appliance, so I can't help either.

Sure but two things.......
1) We seem to be having issues really early in the install which is frustrating - the .ovf file loads and messages flash through the console and then the terms and conditions are then supposed to scroll through - but they do not - there must be some type of condition not satisfied in our domain or other part of our ESXi install somewhere but where? Our other VM's - one Ubuntu one Windows - are fine
2) We have had one response from the Zimbra "staff" team in four weeks of a "how can I help" type - given we were were going to pay for this software as you can imagine we are reviewing that decision
So looks like we are moving on
Thanks for your reply.

This sort of rings a bell. Something to do with ESXi 5 not supporting IDE. Having to manually convert the disk. I think I have a document tacked up on my cubicle wall at work. I'll see I can find it tomorrow.

This is the KB article that I've followed in the past

This is a VMware ESX issue, not a Zimbra issue, therefore I'd suggest you're posting in the wrong place. Open Exchange is a chocolate teapot as well so good luck with that
