Signature image not persist after a server restart

The Engineers told me this is a new security improvement to prevent some XSS, but I can't found more information about it. We will update with more information in the Bug.

Could you ask them, is there any ability to add images to make them appear in the message inline.
In other words, how to put images in the message body in the way they won't be seen like attachments or outside images.
Some mail clients (like Thunderbird) could do that.
It will be the best way to add pictures to the signature.

Yeah, this is a pretty PITA bug here. Makes me look worse to my clients when my nice sig graphic isn't showing, yuck!

What's the word on this? How can we get the fix?

I had the same problem here.I just install 8.7.1 as fresh server. But i lost my signature after re-login to the HTTP web client. Please help me to fix this

There is a patch, I tested and installed in our server, it does work. You only have to recreate your signature, uploading the picture again and it's done. Check the bug report to find it. However, I didn't know when is zimbra releasing a proper patch or update.
