Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
Have you read the information in the link that google has provided you in that message? You should read it and follow their advice or some further diagnostics on the status of your mail server reputation and/or whether you are on any blacklists.
Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
There is no blacklist in zimbra. But i read the details from link. advised to get ISP smtp relay.
Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
My comment was about whether your mail server was on any blacklists (RBl).aamdevan wrote:There is no blacklist in zimbra.
Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
I could send mail to other mail id. google only rejected. I trusted my domain in google postmaster.
mta host name(mail.domain1.com) is mismatch compare with sender domain name(domain2.com)

Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
I do exactly the same thing and NO smtp servers refuse my mail and that includes google.aamdevan wrote:mta host name(mail.domain1.com) is mismatch compare with sender domain name(domain2.com)
BTW, that is the way all mail servers work otherwise they wouldn't be able to host multiple domains that were different to the domain used for the SMTP response.
Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
Hosting multiple domains in a server, can't set host name for each domain,
But how my mail had been rejected by google SMTP. any solution on it?

Re: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
You can't set a 'hostname' for each domain you host, the server has a primary domain and the hostname is set to reflect that and should have a valid reverse DNS - you can then send mail for however many domains you host on that server.aamdevan wrote:Hosting multiple domains in a server, can't set host name for each domain,
Yes, the solution is given in the message that you received from google and on the error page to which they directed you - use a relay server.aamdevan wrote:But how my mail had been rejected by google SMTP. any solution on it?
