[SOLVED] NE licence expiry

Post by dik23 »

Anyone here have any experience with NE licence expiry?

I'm aware that the server reverts to OS but how does this happen? Is it immediate, on the very second it expire or is there some leeway? Does the server restart to disable NE features and if so does this happen automatically?

Thanks in advance :)

This has been covered many times in the forums. You get thirty days grace (or you used to) and then it reverts to the OSS version but you will not be able to create any new users on the system. It's been a long time since I looked at that scenario so I'd suggest you search the forums, read your license or contact Zimbra support for a more details of what exactly happens..

Thanks Bill, you're not only correct but you're much quicker than Zimbra support.

Not that they're slow. Just you're really fast :)
