Hello,
I tried to set
smtpd_client_connection_count_limit
smtpd_client_connection_count_limit
smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit
smtpd_client_message_rate_limit
smtpd_client_new_tls_session_rate_limit
smtpd_client_recipient_rate_limit
http://www.postfix.org/TUNING_README.html
but I did not find where put these parameters.
I tried zmlocalconfig -e postfix_smtpd_client_connection_count_limit=5
but do not works
On zimbra ldap repository are not present
https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Postconf_keys
If I edit main.cf it will be rewrite ad restart
So where is the right location to put these parameters ?
Zimbra 8.8.12GA / CentOS 6
thank you
Giuseppe

Re: how to set smtpd_client_connection_count_limit
Hi,
i usually modify the files /opt/zimbra/common/conf/main.cf and //opt/zimbra/common/conf/main.cf.default to set smtpd_client_event_limit_exceptions, smtpd_client_connection_rate_limit and smtpd_client_connection_count_limit. You need to do it again after each patch of Zimbra software since these files (main.cf and main.cf.default) are often replaced during updates.
