Multi-domain Server, spam/ham/quarantine/gal

Post by CanisHelix »

I cannot find a simple answer to this, do I need a spam/ham/quarantine/galsync accounts per ZCS Cluster/Server or per domain?

1 domain has spam/ham/quarantine/gal accounts setup
My 2nd domain has 0 accounts by default

Is that right?

They 'belong' to the primary domain (i.e. created with that domain name) of the ZCS server and are global system wide accounts.

So only 1 domain should have these. Including the GAL Sync one?

Not exactly...

spam/ham/quarantine/ mailboxes cover the entire system. They just happen to be on the default domain created when you installed Zimbra.

Galsync accounts are per-domain, and you can have one galsync account per domain per mailbox server. So if you had, say, four domains and three mailbox servers, you could have if you wished a total of 12 galsync accounts, where each mailbox server has only one galsync account per domain.

Hope that helps,
Mark
