Re: New patch - 10.1.8, 10.0.14 and 9.0.0 P45

Update applied to several 10.0 and 10.1 systems, and one 9.0 system (in the middle of a Rolling Upgrade...) - no issues detected at this writing.

Re: New patch - 10.1.8, 10.0.14 and 9.0.0 P45

1) ClamAV package upgrade ZCS NE 10.1.8 has a ClamAV package upgrade to 1.0.8 to fix multiple vulnerabilities. ZCS NE 10.0.14 and ZCS NE 9.0.0p45 release notes do not mention that ClamAV package upgrade. Assuming this was not an oversight this would mean that either ClamAV gets unprotected on those...

ZBUG-4827: Contact Ranking fetch causing slowness (Java Consumes 100% of CPU)

Zimbra have created ZBUG-4827 in response to a Support Case we opened where we observed Java was consuming 100% of a mailstore's CPU, sometimes for more than an hour. Note this is on 10.0.13. This is not the mailbox locking issue that others have experienced; this is due to an issue with the per-use...

Re: Zimbra Ubuntu packaging key expired? [SOLVED]

I opened a Sev-1 Support Case for this and heard back that all you need to do is run: sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 5234D2B73B6996C7 No script to build from a wiki, no key to remove from a keystore. Just the one line above and apt-get update worked fine again...

A number of the Zimbra scripts, including zmmailboxdctl, now call zmacl.

Re: How to remove a MySQL account entry that is not shown with the zmprov commands?

Try recreating and then deleting the account:

Code: Select all

zmprov ca galsync.vawnzwsf@xx.ch some-random-password zimbraId 90e7e49c-5e2a-49d5-b95a-b76de16474cb
If it creates Ok, then just do

Code: Select all

zmprov da galsync.vawnzwsf@xx.ch
Hope that helps,
Mark

Re: Questions about Threads of IMAP

The default number of threads of IMAP on Zimbra is 200. If there are about 300 users, how many threads should I set up? Is 600 enough for that? There is not a 1:1 relationship between IMAP threads and IMAP connections. You may want to reference https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Performance_Tuning_Guidel...
