Re: Issue with Zimbra to New Mail Server Migration Using imapsync and account delegation
The easiest way is to give the migration accounts the domain-admins rights.
So the migration account can access all mailboxes using the admin auth system (login as migration account, sync other users data).
What you are doing is a mailbox (root) share, not really "account delegation".

It's not released yet but it seems GitHub already knows about it: viewtopic.php?t=74016
Maybe you (Synacor people) should read the posts about the github release mess and answer the questions by community (about embargo for instance).

Re: Request for Advice - OS upgrade/migration
Either you export/import all data (painfull). Or you upgrade. If you want to upgrade, you need to setup the new server with a new OS and same Zimbra version. Then move data to new server (there are threads in the forum and documentation in the wiki). Then upgrade Zimbra version on new server. Debian...

Re: [Solved] Auto-grouped backups and redologs
That might be because you're using auto-grouped backups (I have not used them - yet). root@zimbra-ne01:/opt/BKP/sessions# ll total 140 drwxr-x--- 35 zimbra zimbra 4096 Sep 26 01:00 ./ drwxr-xr-x 4 zimbra zimbra 4096 Sep 26 00:00 ../ drwxr-x--- 6 zimbra zimbra 4096 Aug 30 01:00 full-20250829.230009.5...

Re: [Solved] Auto-grouped backups and redologs
"Incrementals" backup by Zimbra are actually "taking the redologs from/opt/zimbra/redologs/* and moving them to the backup path (in an incr- subfolder)". zimbraRedoLogDeleteOnRollover has to be set to FALSE (global config and/or server config) once you migrated away from NG backu...

Re: Zimbra 10 FOSS Installation Guide
You cannot do this. If you want to use a new OS (thus a new server/VM), you have to install it, then install the same Zimbra version as the source (hence 8.8.15). Then move your data (search forum/wiki for this, there are several threads explaining how to do it with rsync). Then upgrade, on the new ...

Re: Auto-grouped backups and redologs
Have a look at your backup path.
In the "sessions" folder you should see "full-" and "incr-" sub-folders.
If redologs are correctly copied/archived they will be in the "redologs" folder of each "incr-" sub-folders.
