Re: Deleting email in Web UI redirects to search

Uhhh yeah. This has been happening to me occasionally on multiple computers both Windows and Linux and various browsers.

Some days not at all but when it makes up its mind that it's going to start opening the search dialog, it happens often all day.

Sure doesn't seem like a cache or DNS issue.

Re: Forward-only accounts from admin UI

I've used distribution lists for this. The list has only one member but it works.

I can't figure out how to get a user@myaliasdomain.com to forward to an (off-site) internet email address. It works fine for a real domain, just not an alias domain.

Blocking incoming emails for one recipient domain

And I have it working now. I found that after I had identified the mismatched key, as long as the file paths also match (and you don't make a typo in smtpd_sender_restrictions.cf :) then it works. postconf | grep smtpd_sender_restrictions smtpd_sender_restrictions = check_sender_access lmdb:/opt/zim...

Blocking incoming emails for one recipient domain

Jorge, there is another issue in the document. It says to add to the smtpd_sender_restrictions.cf file, the check for the key named... check_sender_access lmdb:... But then we are told to set the key with zmprov to client_sender_access lmdb:... Those keys don't match. Ultimately I think we are expec...

Standalone Web Interface for creating Users

You can create an user with restricted admin rights for a domain so that all they are able to do is administer users. I have not done this but I have used an admin panel setup this way for another domain I administer so I know it is possible.

Blocking incoming emails for one recipient domain

Jorge, plastilin didn't ask to block IP addresses, he asked to block by domain. I am also looking for this and to block by individual addresses. There is a Wiki article about this here https://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?title=Domain_level_blocking_of_users However, it does not work as written. I thin...

Briefcase path not the same after a migration.

After a server migration from Ubuntu 12 to 14 using ZeXtras, objects in the briefcase have a different URL than the original server. I don't think all the LDAP parms were migrated and that's ok, but I have reconfigured with zmprov for Public Service Host, Public Service protocol and Public Service p...

How to outgoing SMTP address override for root?

I would like root user of my Ubuntu 12 ZCS server (named mail) to send out updates for cron jobs etc., as coming from mail@mydomain.com rather than root@mail.mydomain.com. I would normally use postfix smtp_generic_maps but since ZCS 8.5 there is a way to use zimbraMtaSmtpGenericMaps to persist map c...
