Re: How to enable SMTP on port 25 for whitelisted IPs

Hello,

in my opinion this is not a zimbra but a firewall/router issue...
You'll have to look at what you have between your zimbra server and the internet and start there.

Re: External address sending through my server

Hi, Got Zimbra 8.8.15 OSE installed 2 month ago. Everything was fine before yesterday. Some spammers used server as relay to send mass spam and also somehow sending through our network gateway. Tried everything I found here, in Zimbra wiki and in the internet. even activated and configured Cbpolicy...

Re: Compacting

Update:
setting AutoCompactDays to 0 is shity... Then it compacts every time you start outlook...
Will give 30 a try... Sounds reasonable for me...

Re: Compacting

FYI Patrick,
I found registry settings that sound interesting under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Zimbra

Especially those:
AutoCompactDays
AutoCompactDBMinSize
AutoCompactShowProgressUI
AutoCompactZDBMinSize

What I try next is set AutoCompactDays to 0 (it is 7 now...)

Re: Compacting

Hello,
we are experiencing this behaviour, too.
Does anybody knows anything about that? Is this configurable?

Re: Installing SSL Cert - HELP

Hello, I would go with Fabio and take the bundle file as commercial_ca.crt... But as it is a cross signed ROOT certificate it MAY be necessary to put the SHA-2 Root : USERTrust RSA Certification Authority in it, too... Just try it out with (as User zimbra) zmcertmgr verifycrt comm commercial.key com...

Re: Installing SSL Cert - HELP

Hello,

you'll need the corresponding ROOT certificate, too.
This is often not in those bundles, because webserver doesn't need it and this is probably most of the use cases...

Re: Zimbra to Zimbra migration/upgrade, options?

Second thing is that the NG backups should not go on NFS volumes, according to ZeXtras. Zimbra however have not yet updated their official documentation to indicate that classic backups work fine with a good NFS target, but that NG backups should not use NFS for a backend store. Out of about ten NG...

Re: Error when upgrading to latest 8.8.15P2 on Ubuntu16

I've just ran a dist-upgrade to update Zimbra and during package installations I got: Setting up snmp (5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4.4) ... Setting up zimbra-common-core-jar (8.8.15.1568694943-1.u16) ... Re: Serious issue with the latest 8.8.15 patch

For want of a better phrase I feel the zimbra repo is a bit flaky at times. I've had situations where the update doesn't show when I check for the an update but it does install when I install the individual packages. The update seems to have no problems (for me, at least) good luck with it. :) I go...
