What is a standard archiving solution

Hello Sebastian, I think you are right. Later I figured out the trick with another server as well. It is not a clear solution because the archiving account can be used for sending e-mails, lacks the current user's folder structure which has to be created again. And it is "too much manual" ...

What is a standard archiving solution

Hello, we are looking for a standard archiving solution for Zimbra ZCS. I do not mean the Archiving which is described in the admin guide (ie. copying every message which goes through MTA to an archive mailbox). We are running Zimbra 8.5 and all users use only Zimbra Web client as the main client (n...

Emails not being routed through anti-spam gateway

Hi, I gues what you mean is that your Zimbra server uses your antispam gateway ar a smart host rather then sending mails directly to the recipients' mailservers, right? if not, please correct me. This can be set at MTA settings (Global Settings or Server settings). Search for setting "Relay MTA...

Restoring email

Hi, when restoring, you can always restore to a new account to be sure the current account will not be touched. Then you can migrate the missing e-mails (import/export in Preferences for example). But I have better idea. Do you use dumpster? If so, the deleted e-mails can be recovered from it. As th...

Zimbra 8.5: missing "add to filter" menu item?!

Hello,

I agree with Jorge. I would like to have a feature you describe but for us it is not in 8.0.7 nor in 8.5. If you find out how to make it available in whatever version, I would love to hera it.

ZCO 8.0.7 causes Outlook 2010 crash

Hello nickl99,
we are currently using ZCO 8.0.8 which was provided to us by support. We have been using it for several weeks and it works perfectly so far. I do not know if it is available for public but I can send it to you if you provide me a mail address.

Migrated allday appointment shifted one day backwards

Hello, unfortunatelly, we did not find any solution for this. All users had to adjust their all day events. Among many other issues - this one was minor so we did not digging into it further. I can imagine a script can be created to shift all allday events one day forward but I am not able to create...

ZCO for Outlook 2013 expands distribution lists before sending

Also I have noticed that DLs which are hidden from GAL are not filled in the autocomplete cache. So this is maybe related to GAL.

ZCO for Outlook 2013 expands distribution lists before sending

HELLO, WE ARE OBSERVING A WEIRD BEHAVIOR OF OUTLOOK 2013 WITH ZCO 8.0.6 INSTALLED. IT IS NOT RELATED TO OUTLOOK 2010 OR 2007. IF A USER OF OUTLOOK 2013 SENDS AN E-MAIL TO A DISTRIBUTION LIST, OUTLOOK EXPANDS THE DL TO ITS MEMBERS AND SENDS E-MAIL WITH ALL THE MEMBERS IN "TO:" FIELD INSTEAD...
