Re: Installation without dnscache

Why don't you just disable dnscache and it will stay like that?

For a mail server you need a 'public' reverse DNS record - you need to fix that.

Re: I need some basic knowledge about Zimbra versions and releases | I've searched but it's not clear

The latest available FOSS version is Zimbra 8.8.15, which will reach end-of-life on December 31, 2024. Zimbra 10 and newer require a license and are not available for free. That's absolute rubbish. There are OSS versions of every Zimbra version and I've installed/updated every version since I insta...

Re: Zimbra Version 10 open source edition

Did you bother searching the forums and/or the internet for a version of Zimbra 10 OSS build?

If you're talking about the root password then you can recover from it's 'loss'. Try one of the solutions you'll find doing an internet search for the following:

"how can I recover my centos server password"

Re: Poor performance while watching the web interface mail queues

You haven't given any information on the 'specifications' of your VM regarding RAM, HD space etc. Is this a VMware VM or some other hypervisor?. FWIW, I've never had any problems in running Zimbra as a VM.

Re: zimbra mail server Support in RHEL 9

For anyone that's running Zimbra on RHEL 8 (and variants), you could always move your Zimbra installation to Oracle 8 as that has another five years of support to the end of 2029. Details here: https://www.oracle.com/a/ocom/docs/elsp-lifetime-069338.pdf FWIW, I've been using ZCS on Oracle 8 for a co...

Re: my zimbra suddenly cannot send and receive mail

Have you done any research on this problem? It's always a good idea to do an internet search for the "error message", do a search for the following term:

Code: Select all

warning: /opt/zimbra/common/libexec/proxymap: bad command startup -- throttling
Try the solution you'll find.

Re: Mailbox locked user cant access it

Hey everyone, this has been happening not that often but lets say every 3 or 4 months. Randomly a user mailbox gets "locked", user can access, emails stay on the queue with "Temporary mail delivery ... " When I check the logs on /opt/zimra/logs/mailbox.log the following shows up...
