Upgrade error SUSE 332 to 394

Try running /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl after the bomb-out - it should work. BEFORE you do that, chmod /etc/sudoers to 640 to avoid an LDAP start-up failure...

ZCS 3.1 upgrade

Samotrak:
On my Suse 9.3 system, chmod 640 of sudoers was also needed... but it still does not work. I have no successful upgrade to date.... :mad:
zcs-3.0.1_GA_160.SuSEES9 -> zcs-3.0.1_GA_160.SuSEES9 just fails

Interupted 3.0 -> 3.1 upgrade

REASON! Sudoers has been modified before the failed run... The sudo "as zimbra" pointers now point to directories that do not exist IF YOU HAVE RESTORED from backup... OK. If you DID NOT try to install more than once, find the /etc/sudoersfile and repair (using visudo) to make "slapd ...

system failure: unable to modify attrs

After a restart, the following started happening: zimbra@mailserv6:~> zmprov sp user@tld.com password ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: unable to modify attrs) (cause: javax.naming.LimitExceededException Referral limit exceeded) Likewise, /opt/zimbra/log/zimbra.log now has lots of the followin...

Mailbox stopped, redo.log permissons problem

Somehow, the file /opt/redolog/redo.log reverts to root.root ownership after "shutdown" of zimbra service(s). In order to control redo log growth and manage some other log-related issues, I am running "/etc/init.d/zimbra restart" 4:20AM. I have modified the startup script to chan...

Internet Explorer 6 with Zimbra UI

GA/OSS. Cache clearing does not fix it. Firefox works differently and is OK. Same account on one IE machine works, on another does not. Happened overnight for one client. Very odd.
I will try to upgrade and see if that works...

Internet Explorer 6 with Zimbra UI

None of these "tricks" work for me. There are a few users encountering this problem with the same version of IE on XP (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) but others are not. It seems to happen when Zimlets are loading (after login but before loading bar completes). So, I undeployed so...

/var/log/zimbra.log is empty: why?

[quote user="marcmac"]Here's the change I've made to the installer - this will be added to syslog-ng.conf.in: filter f_local0 { facility(local0); }; # zimbra destination zmail { file("/var/log/zimbra.log"); }; # zimbra log { source(src); filter(f_mail); destination(zmail); }; # z...
