Zimbra 8 <-> iOS, shared cals
The post quoted below helped me to get shared Address Books working via WebDAV/CardDAV in Evolution (Linux mail/calendar client) I am going to paraphrase to explain the below in a way that made more sense to me: user1@maildoma.in has addressbook called CompanyContacts and wishes to share it with use...

Can't sync Outlook
Good day. You will probably also need to send the zimbra log (/var/log/zimbra.log) and zimbra mailbox log (/opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log) for the same period during which these errors are experienced. The reason for this is to be able to diagnose any issues "at both ends", ie at server (Zimb...

Migrating Outlook PST archives to Zimbra Desktop (best practice)
A long work-around for dealing with zimbra Desktop (which is heading to E-O-L) 1) Import all mail onto server. 2) Use import/export in web-mail preferences, to export a subset of the data. 3) Then import that data into ZDesktop (it will appear as a separate folder tree) 4) Then delete the exported d...

Migrating Outlook PST archives to Zimbra Desktop (best practice)
Why not? Storage space is inexpensive and there doesn't seem any reason to me that you can't keep the mail on the server.
... in providing a reason why one might not want "all" mail on the server. I agree entirely with the logic of Bill's statem...

Zimbra 8.5 Offline HTML5 CLient
Good day. I am just posting the link to the relevant zimbra blog entry here: Zimbra (JudasPriest) Release Update 1 :: Zimbra :: Blog From that blog post "full mailbox" is not likely. It will be the most recent X-number of days, which leads me to believe that it will work very similarly to ...

I">https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=82217
I created this bug because the functionality was there previously (it is documented at Mail signatures with images - Zimbra :: Wiki ). In ZCS8 access to it is gone.
