should i upgrade from v5.0.18 to v6.0
I would certainly go to V5.0.18 though due to a major security fix.
Absolutely agree...get thee to 5.0.18...like now.
Well, phoenix, considering the mounting number of errors and problems reports after upgrading , I'd definitely reco...

should i upgrade from v5.0.18 to v6.0
Any major software release is bound to have bugs. 6.01 will be coming to address these, so have patience. In my opinion, those people who jump into a new major release without doing a full test upgrade, need to re-examine their change management procedures. So while Zimbra has always had some QA iss...

Problem with .doc files as attachments
So here is an interesting issue. Server is 5.0.15 (RHEL 4 32bit). When sending .doc attachments, from the Zimbra webUI, it appears the to somehow corrupt the file. Attached are the error messages from OS X and Windows Vista. The same file sent from Gmail to Gmail works fine. However, Zimbra to Gmail...

Upgrading with a clear backout path
Yeah, let me echo Mark's comments...don't jump on an upgrade the first day it is out...watch the forums and do your own off production system testing. We usually upgrade about 30 days after Zimbra releases. This gives us internal QA time and lets others flush out some issues that may arise. Mark's b...

iPhone Configuration Utility
We are in the process of deploying 20+ iPhones to users and planned on using the iPhone Configuration Utility to deploy profiles with settings that configured the Zimbra server settings, however I am running into an issue. I have the profile on the device, click Install, it runs you through the acco...

Salesforce Zimlet Problems
I am having some problems with the stock Salesforce zimlet. I deployed it, restarted zimbra services. It shows up...I enter my login credentials, and I get: Login to Salesforce failed! Check your internet connection and review your preferences. Thing is, if I use the same login credentials on a diff...

NotifyLink vs. Blackberry Enterprise Server for Zimbra 5.0?
Honestly I would really like to hear your definition of "pure crap" as most people who have issues with a product aren't completely up-to-date with the functionality. If you have any questions I'd recommend you contact Technical Support if you are experie...
