Tracking down calendar 'issues'

It won't help in backtracking an existing issue, but you can turn on extra logging for specific users, which apparently will last until the next server restart. We ran the following: zmprov aal zimbra.mailop debug Zimbra Support also suggested we add zmprov aal zimbra.soap debug From there, it's a m...

Nightmare !!! (Mac OS X)

I (currently) run Zimbra (5.0.18) on a Mac. I like Macs and manage a lot of them. I like Linux too (at least as a Server OS, perhaps not so much as a desktop OS) and have been using it for over 15 years. I'm running my Zimbra install (5.x) on a 10.4 Server running Intel chips, which is what Zimbra s...

iPhone 3.1 repeat events are buggy

Thanks for testing at your side. A couple of differences are the platform the server is running on, and the mobile device connecting in (though I will concede the likelihood of it being the touch vs phone is unlikely). I've logged a support case now as well, so hopefully I'll get to the bottom of th...

iPhone 3.1 repeat events are buggy

Due to the severity this behaviour causes to the future of Zimbra at our org, I've logged bug #41177
Please feel free to vote for it if it affects you too.

iPhone 3.1 repeat events are buggy

Hi, We're seeing a lot of issues here with Zimbra 5.0.18 and iPhone 3G/3GS devices. Can anyone else confirm they see similar behaviour? Steps taken: 1. Login via web interface as user and crete a new calendar 'testcal' 2. Via web, create a new weekly appointment at 3pm on Fridays 3. Via web, Go to O...

[SOLVED] How to Upgrading ZCS 5.0.6NE to 5.0.13NE

I'd suggest that the best first step is to read the 5.0.13 release notes which give you the gist of what is required, as well as outlining a couple of potential gotchas too. The current link to them is in the Support -> Documentation links on the Zimbra website (Documentation for the Zimbra Collabor...

zmcalchk on Mac OS X can't locate XML/Parser.pm

We upgraded from 5.0.7 to 5.0.13 today and wanted to test out the new 'zmcalchk' command line tool. However, when running it as the zimbra user, I get an error similar to that described in bug #35576. It appears that Zimbra may not be supplying all the required dependencies on Mac OS X to utilise th...

Tracking down calendar 'issues'

Hi, We're having some reports of calendar/appointment oddities from one of our users at the moment. The details are fairly vague, but include: * one (unfortunately important and almost missed) appointment that 'disappeared', and * intermittant appointments that are an hour out. I've re-indexed the u...

After 4.5.9 -> 5.0.1 Firefox stops working

I should have posted to this thread a long time ago, just to follow up - the problems we experienced never had their root cause unveiled, but the issue did get resolved when we upgraded from Zimbra 5.0.1 to 5.0.6.
