Out of Office All Day Checkbox not showing in IE
CAN ANYONE ELSE CONFIRM THIS, I'M ON ZIMBRA V8.0.2 ON UBUNTU 10.04LTS. IN THE WEB CLIENT, UNDER IE 8, OR 10, THE ALL DAY CHECKBOX DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE OUT OF OFFICE PREFERENCES. IT WORKS FINE IN FIREFOX AND CHROME. BECAUSE OF THIS, IN IE, YOU CANNOT SET A STARTING AND ENDING TIME AS THE DROP-DOWNS...

Some mail options missed in AJAX web interface
Right Click the Column Header (where it says, Size, From, Subject, etc), at the bottom of that menu.

Search for Message ID
I've done it before, but for the life of me it's isn't mentioned anywhere that I can find again. I want to search a mailbox for a particular email by its Zimbra ID (ex 97401, 78994, etc). I was even able to search for multiple id's. Just typing the number gives you nothing, there was some kind of se...

Disable status check in Admin area.
Is there a way to disable the status check every time the Main Admin screen loads? The first time is fine, but when you have to navigate back to that screen just to get someplace else (a hassle in its own right), it gets really old having to wait until it checks and displays the info before it will ...

Revoking shares from the commandline
I need to revoke shares for the Calendar folder from the command line (for scripting purposes). I have scripts that can modify permissions and set them to "None", but what I would like to do is revoke it entirely just as you would do if you clicked the "Revoke" link in the share ...

Question on restoring from a backup on NE
In my experience with Zimbra going back to v5, backups have always been a sketchy thing in my mind so I just wanted some concrete clarification. If I wanted to restore a Zimbra NE system, can I do it without anything except a fresh install of the same version Zimbra/OS and a copy of the backups made...

User cannot send to ONE specific user
So, this is an odd one. I have a user (I call User A) that can send email to anyone except one person (User B). I can login to User A, and send an email addressed to User B, C, D, etc, and everyone will get it except user B. User B can send an email to User A just fine. Neither one have any filters ...

Admin Panel in Zimbra 8
So, I've been doing tests and working with Zimbra 8 to get the feel of it before upgrading my production server. I like the changes to the web client, I thought it was well done and an improvement over the previous styling (though the font size is considerably smaller), The one thing I just can't se...

Migrate from OSS version 7 to Version 8 Appliance
So, a backup made on one server can be copied to a ZCS Appliance of the same version and be restored? That goes against everything I've seen in the Wiki's. It also didn't work when I tried it. I have a Zimbra 8 NE running in Ubutu 10.04LTS, Full Backup, moved to Zimbra 8 Appliance and it was not abl...

upgrade path to zimbra 8
I'm in a similar situation. There doesn't seem to be a good path, other than a long process of using Ubuntu 10.04 as an intermediary. Right now, the quickest way seems to be to setup a new server using Ubuntu 8.04, install the same version of Zimbra (7.2) and migrate my server data, then shut down z...
