School Project - is this possible?

Hi all, I have a school project that I am researching. The idea is to setup a class where they do their work just as if they were at real jobs, and turn in their work via email. Each class has 4-6 students, and at the most there will only be 20 users involved. At any one time there should be less th...

DST weirdness

I ran some more tests...
If I send an emal from someone using Outlook (IMAP) - the time is correct.
Only when going from web client to web client is the time off by an hour... Could this be an IE7 issue?
Should I change the timezone data in ZCS to compensate for the hour?

I tried another reboot, still having the same results. Internal email off by an hour - external mail has correct times.... weird.

DST weirdness

Hi all, ZCS 4.5.11 on FC4 (I know it's older, we are planning an upgrade soon). Server has the correct time. The time in webmail is correct. I check all my servers, they have the correct time. If email is sent internally (from one ZCS account to another), the time is off by an hour. An email sent at...

upgrading 4.5.11

I am working on a plan to upgrade a FC4 (zcs 4.5.11) server (to the latest version of ZCS). Obviously I need to upgrade the FC4 - so here are a few questions. - Is there a plan to create a 4.5.11 version to run on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS? I would like to take advantage of Ubuntu's LTS. - Can the Ubuntu 6.06...

Configure GAL - From External to Both

Hi all, When I setup my zimbra box, I configured the GAL to use our Active Directory domain. I would now like to change this setting to "both" but just want to be sure before I pull the trigger. Basically what is happening is that when I create a new user account in AD, it does not show up...

Timezone change? Not updating?

Hi all, I was checking the timezone setting in the default COS - it was wrong - off by one timezone (one hour). All emails are getting timestamped with this incorrect time. The server itself has the correct time & timezone. I go into the default COS - and change it to the correct timezone. I go ...

[SOLVED] Backup - RSYNC - some files vanished....

thanks for the help. I think the logger issue was that I started the rsync really fast and the logger wasn't done doing whatever it was doing. I did another backup immediately afterwards and it came up clean.
Thanks,

Rob

Backup - grep - logger?

Ok - maybe I am getting paranoid, but I checked the number of files in the backup (compared to the opt/zimbra) and the number of files is off by ONE.
Any thoughts?
