ZD Install in AppData/Local, Loses Setup on Log Out

I installed ZD to do zimlet stuff and found that, since ZD init puts files in /User//AppData/Local, ZD forgets account setups across sessions because our GPO clears AppData/Local when the user logs off. It appears as though I could mod one or all...

Are HSM's or backups recored in redo logs

Encryption Services for Zimbra
Penango (Penango) makes a FF and IE browser plugin that will do PKI signing and encrypting. It lacks CRL and OCSP lookup but is in their roadmap. Or you could use the ZCO and Outlook alternatively. Actually, contact info at Penango, Inc - Sacramento, California (CA) | Company Profile. Penango's webs...

Yet Another Migrate/Restore Scenario Question
Not saying there's right or wrong way, we chose incremental buildout to stay operational which negated use of some of the zimbra procedures due to the requirement to name servers the same. As for the LDAP, we added a virtual replica, promoted it to master, shut down the HW master, the added a virtua...

Yet Another Migrate/Restore Scenario Question
We virtualized a 2 HW server system - turned it into a 10 VM system ultimately. We build the VM mailstores, added them to the existing system, moved the accounts from the HW to the VM stores, then deleted the HW stores when were were done. This was for approximately 12k users. No service interruptio...

Are HSM's or backups recored in redo logs
Can someone tell me if system commands like zmhsm or zmbackup result in entries in the redo logs?
My customer is itching for an HA zimbra and shipping redo logs seems to be a viable approach but I'd like to know if replaying a redo log could potentially kick off an hsm move or backup.

Moving Files From Shared Briefcase Disabled
I have a group of users with a shared account, in addition to their own personal accounts. The shared account is not owned by any in the group due to frequent comings and goings of their staff. The briefcase is shared administratively to a select few "admins" and "managers". All ...
