I have the same problem. I have not been able to figure out what causes it. I have tried all the versions of the connector and servers. Many different boxes and I have checked all the registries to check for proper flags and its a no go.
I hope they find a fix soon.

I did a restore on ubuntu 6.06 last night with 4.5.9 Fresh install of ubuntu 6.06 I am trying to do a backup so i can upgrade to 5.0.2.
