Re: zen.spamhaus.org only working intermittently.

I'm having a similar problem. I see its working sometime, but not always. DNS caching is active, I'm using my local DNS servers, and I'm using postscreen. For example, if I look up the IP address 173.0.51.27 on spamhaus, it is listed in SBLCSS But: Jan 5 11:35:24 mail amavis[13126]: (13126-06) Passe...

Zimbra migration and Zimbra 7 to Zimbra 8 upgradation

I'm not sure if this is related, but I also had a problem with cbpolicyd not starting. Look in the log/cbpolicyd.log file to see if there is anything there that can point to the error. In my case I saw that the cbpolicyd.pid file was not being created, which sometimes made it look like it wasn't run...

SPAM and DNSBL

Thanks for the reply. My problem was that "some" messages were being blocked, but not all of the ones that should have been. I do realize that rhsbl's don't work (with zimbra 7), I found I had to build them into the config file later. I was trying to figure out if there was some debug flag...

SPAM and DNSBL

It doesn't appear my DNSBLs are actually working.  For example, this IP address is spamming us relentlessly: 103.255.223.87 When I look at http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist%3a103.255.223.87&run=toolpage I see that it is blacklisted in Spamhaus Zen.  I have that DNSBL set in my...

Server Statistics graph with high MTA message count

This is an open bug that's been around for years. https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=62095 https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=79632 Clearing out your logs doesn't fix it... It just comes back. [quote user="chumaty"]Hi, I also have this problem, the number in the chart is ...

help with cbpolicyd, problem with greylisting, internal posts

So, has anyone got greylisting on 7.2 to work? Maybe you can tell me how you allow Authenticated SASL users to bypass greylisting. I tried addiing 5|Sender:$*|Whitelist authenticated users|0 to the greylisting_whitelist but that made no difference. Anyone? Thanks, Jeff [quote user="jefft@iri.co...

help with cbpolicyd, problem with greylisting, internal posts

Release 7.2.7_GA_2942.RHEL5_64_20140314190109 RHEL5_64 NETWORK edition. --------------- Dear Forum, I've enabled cbpolicyd, following the directions using the fine wiki page: Postfix Policyd - Zimbra :: Wiki I've set our internal mail server IP address (in fact, the whole subnet) to be whitelisted, ...

Changing the backup destination in Zimbra 7.2

You can do the same thing in the Admin GUI, under the Global Settings. This looks correct in 7.1.1

Statistics data issue

I've created a bug report for this: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=62095

back in July. Haven't heard a word from Zimbra. Maybe they can't replicate it.

Unusually high message count

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what mta count means. Can someone tell me how those graphs are generated?
