this does not seem to work with zimbra 8.
It worked for me under Zimbra 8.0.2, though the behavior did change slightly from 7.x - now these encrypted zips come through with an altered subject line that include ***UNCHECKED***.

Zimbra 8 Disk Usage
I'm planning to build new VM's to host our zimbra deployment with 8.0, and I'm wondering if anything major has changed regarding the way zimbra uses disk space in 8.0? The documentation suggests that 10GB is plenty for everything but the message store, but that's not been my experience at all in the...

Instant Messaging in Zimbra Desktop
Actually, it looks like after leading us on with the beta in the past few versions, they're going to drop the IM server from ZCS (see release notes and various bugzilla entries). Unless there's a big push to get them to change their minds, I don't think we'll be seeing much more IM integration in Zi...

[SOLVED] Palm Pre Calendars won't sync correctly
My understanding is that this is a limitation of the ActiveSync protocol that most mobile devices use to sync calendars. ActiveSync only permits one calendar to be shared. I think the iphone has an option to sync multiple calendars via CalDav or something, but the Pre lacks such a feature at this ti...

PIN being forced on Palm Pre
This was due to the upgrade going awry and not getting the LDAP schema/values updated correctly. You'll likely need to get zimbra support to help if you're having the same issue.

PIN being forced on Palm Pre
I actually discovered that it's forcing a PIN on *all* mobile devices (regardless of the Mobile Policy settings). I opened a ticket with Zimbra a few days ago. I'll follow up with the answer whenever they respond to it.

PIN being forced on Palm Pre
I've tried it both with "Enable Mobile Policy" unchecked, and also with "Enable Mobile Policy" checked but "Force pin on device" unchecked. I've removed the zimbra account and re-added it, but in both cases, as soon as I enter my zimbra password, I'm forced to set a PIN.

PIN being forced on Palm Pre
No matter what combination of settings I enable for zimbra mobile, my Palm Pre forces me to enable an unlock PIN after our 6.0.1 upgrade. Is everyone else seeing this, or is there something I'm missing? Anyone have a clue whether this is a Palm issue or a Zimbra issue?

We did this by simply wrapping the zimbra mobile client into a frame on our intranet (using the zimbra preauthkey of course, so that the users don't have to login). The fonts are a little bit big (we've not spent any real time looking to see if there's a way to scale everything down), but it works f...

Palm Pre & Zimbra Mobile - AIM & Nickname
Overall Zimbra mobile and the Palm Pre seem to work fairly well (though it does occasionally have a habit of only pulling in 2-3 new messages when I actually have more like 10-12... I haven't seen a definitive pattern there yet). There are two minor things that have come up though... - When an AIM a...
