Migrating from CentOS to Ubuntu 10.4LTS
Hi, I'm planning to migrate from CentOS to Ubuntu 10.4LTS and I was wondering if there are any gotchas? My Action plan is: Backup Zimbra 7.13 /opt format, reinstall Ubuntu 10.4 LTS (+ updates) Install Bind (with same settings as before) Install Zimbra 7.13 (--software only) Move /opt back Thanks, Leo

Non-VMWare Zimbra?
I ran Zimbra for 2 years under CentOS perfectly fine. Now we are running it under Citrix Xen - RHEL. This was mainly due to the fact that we moved zimbra over to a SAN and didn't want any issues with the SAN vendor/zimbra support regarding CentOS. As a long time Zimbra user, running both NE and Free...

Zimbra Network Edition Support Line is DOWN!
I can't help regarding that. I purchased zimbra before yahoo bought them. My sales rep back then set me up. You should contact your sales rep, but if it is an emergency, you can give them a call and open a support ticket over the phone by leaving them a message.

Unable to use zmcontrol via CronTAB
Hi, I'm running into a really strange problem and I'm out of ideas. The good thing is I've been able to reproduce this problem both in my production and VM environments. I'm trying to use a bash script to stop, and start zimbra via the crontab. But what happens is, when zimbra starts, some of the se...

Zimbra, Xen5.6SP2, Netapp - Best way to backup
Hi, We have Zimbra NE on Xen5.6SP2 (upgrading to 6 soon) hosted on a Netapp LUN over Fiber Channel. We already have NE backups but I'd like to use the snapshot features of the SAN. In order to have clean snapshots, zimbra mysql must be paused or stopped. Currently I'm doing this with a script, where...
