Well, It indeed works when you name you're account "DEFAULT" in you're account settings. No matter the language, just force the name to "DEFAULT" and it's good to go.

Well the rfe you point to 8018 seems not the same to me. I think that item intends a mailbox preference. I mean a choice per e-mail so each individual e-mail sent should be able to select the language. not as a preference for my entire mailbox. The second one you are right. I didn't see that one yet...
