Cash,
Did you get help yet? Can you post your Zimbra information? Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the user to the BES?

BES users able to browse subnet!
I discovered the very same thing when trying to find showtimes with my wife from my Blackberry. We use OpenDNS internally and I found it rather amusing that I was being blocked. Changing it to 'Internet Browser' bypasses the problem ... or blessing depending on the usage. I now have 20 people deploy...

Procedure for moving ZDB files?
Always stop the services first and follow the procedures for stopping the Blackberry Server as documented on the wiki. We store ours to an external profile because of the size issues too. If you select the desired location for it to be stored and then select "Move ZBD" it should move the c...

[SOLVED] Installing BES: Is Active Directory required?
Can you post the steps you took here?
The BES is actually meant to talk with Exchange, which does use Active Directory ... so you may be right.
Did you receive a failure message? If so, can you post it?

BES and Blackberry Professional Edition
Blackberry Professional is 'BES Lite' basically. It's small to medium business version of the BES. I have it deployed here with 20 users connected to Zimbra and it works great. Just make sure you follow the zimbra connector instructions word for word. It is highly recommended that you use a fresh se...

[SOLVED] Calendar sync
Yep. You get the Blackberry Professional Software and then the Zimbra BES Connector which is talked about in this forum and on the main Zimbra.com site. I was just reading down a couple posts and some people were mentioning a program called NotifySync as well and doesn't require all the setup that g...

BES and Blackberry Professional Edition
Blackberry Professional handles up to 30 phones. Once you go pass that, you can get a license from RIM to upgrade to a full BES.
Has anyone had any problems with NotifySync? You have me curious now.

[SOLVED] Calendar sync
You need a Blackberry Enterprise Server to get a full sync with your Blackberry. If you are doing it with a single user, you can actually use the Blackberry Professional Software for free from RIM which comes with a single user license. Additional licenses can be purchased if necessary. Zimbra Mobil...

Is Zimbra compatible with Motorola's Good Mobility Suite?
You aren't going to have to spend a fortune on the BES. The Blackberry Professional Software is basically BES Light. The first user is free, and CALs are $99 a user unless you buy them in a pack. That will work for you just fine with Zimbra. And should you ever go over the maximum licenses allowed w...

CalHelper.exe - Maxed CPU / Memory Eater
I took down Zimbra about a week and a half ago and didn't disable the BES before doing so and Calendar items stopped synchronizing. This seems to always happen if I jiggle the handle on Zimbra without first asking the BES for permission first ... Anyways, so I reboot the BES and I could have had a t...
