still problems in relocating.

My relocation from one server to another (Rhel5 Zimbra NE 4.5.6) still has problems. I can bring up the Admin screen on port 7071 on the server and from a client. However , when I select a single account and try "view mail" it opens a new window and fails "cant establish a connection ...

Migration to new server on existing domain - zone files.

I am running 4.5.6 on RHEL5, but for a number of reasons want to move Zimbra to another server. The old server will remain and host our web site, DNS and other services. I can see how to change the internal.zone file to point mail.domain.com to a new IP address, but how do I make sure that external ...

Upgrade from 4.5.6 to 5.0.1 (or 5.0.2) RHEL5

I am planning an upgrade from 4.5.6 to 5.0.1 (or 5.0.2) on RHEL5. In the 5.0.1 release notes under "Generally known issues" , it talks about bug 21801 (segmentation fault on RHEL5). 21801 isn't in the list of open issues in Patch: 5.0.2 . The bug is still listed in bugzilla. However if it ...

Old version in zimbra/backup folder

I upgraded from 4.0.2 to 4.5.6 on Saturday 19th January and today I ran out of disk space. I am on RHEL5. I noticed that there is a folder in /opt/zimbra/backup called drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jan 19 12:12 4.5.6_GA It contains one folder: drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 Jan 19 12:06 4.0.2_GA-5.3 (cre...

Upgrade from 4.0.2_GA_362.RHEL4 to 5.0 RHEL5

I would like to upgrade to Zimbra 5.0 (mainly for shared folders) and would like to know if I can go directly from 4.0.2 to 5.0 or if I need to go to 4.5 RHEL5 first and then to 5.0 RHEL5. Note that the current version is running on an RHEL5 machine (the OS was upgraded after Zimbra 4.0.2 was instal...
