Re: Maldua's Zimbra FOSS Builds - Share your feedback
Hello, Using your build to upgrade from 10.0.6 I always get "Saving config key 'zimbraCertAuthorityCertSelfSigned' via zmprov modifyConfig...failed (rc=2)" error (seen this before with other builds). I suspect this has to do with different ldap schema as said on https://forums.zimbra.org/...

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
Just lost a lengthy reply because of the 502 error on these forums so keep I'll keep it short this time copy this to a cut buffer. ;-) Ha!!!! it did it again but I had it in my cut buffer this time. These forums really suck these days. arhhhh. Would this also work? % mv db db.old % sleep 600 % mv db...

Re: Maldua's Zimbra 10 FOSS Build system
I have finally opted for using: --build-release-no=GA-9.0.0.p39-maldua instead of the usual: --build-release-no=GA . Very nice! I think you ment --build-release-candidate vs --build-release-no which is in the link you posted that you used. I had been looking at zmsetup.pl and testing different stra...

Re: zimbra 10 on BTRFS results in sql error
I didn't spend too much time looking into what you describe but this seemed similar and you may have already seen it. Ref: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-btrfs/CAHF2GV6U32gmqSjLe=XKgfcZAmLCiH26cJ2OnHGp5x=VAH4OHQ@mail.gmail.com/t/ What stood out to me was this statement: Out of experience I have had i...

Re: Maldua's Zimbra 10 FOSS Build system
Maldua's zimbra-foss-builder script does not support building 9.x but I'm not sure I'm going to fix that in the short term. Probably not necessary given 9 is EOL this year. I left it in mine for those builds including version 8 but handle 10 differently. BUILDS/RHEL8_64-DAFFODIL-1007-20240319140057...

Re: Maldua's Zimbra 10 FOSS Build system
Ignore everything I have stated above... I brought up a NETWORK version to see what it says. % zmcontrol -v Release 10.0.7.GA.4518.RHEL8_64.20230301065514 NETWORK edition. I am going back to my old way and the same way you are doing it. That is what I get for thinking it was like previous releases l...

Re: Maldua's Zimbra 10 FOSS Build system
A release candidate is a version that appears before the final release version. So... by adding it you are actually forcing a downgrade. That's to be expected. I don't think this is the right way of dealing with this problem. From utilfunc.sh during installation: elif [ ${ZM_CUR_MAJOR} -eq ${ZM_INS...

Re: Maldua's Zimbra 10 FOSS Build system
Here is what I ended up doing after looking at build.pl and seeing how they were appending BUILD_RELEASE_CANDIDATE at line 323. EchoToFile( "$GLOBAL_PATH_TO_SCRIPT_DIR/RE/MICRO", "${MICRO}_$CFG{BUILD_RELEASE_CANDIDATE}" ); By adding the newest patch level from your tags list and ...

Re: Anyone else getting a lot of "502 Bad Gateway" errors accessing the forums?
It is horrible... It will happen to me at least a few times every day and almost always when I am in the middle of composing a post to these forums and using preview to proof read. If feels like a security appliance that is acting up on their end. I can have a 502 on one browser window and move over...
