ok. i got the 2 buttons enabled and i use mixed auth aswell, maybe is a bug in that version im using 7.1.3 64bits Opensource for ubuntu
You maybe can search for bugs related to your version, or open one if you cant find one.

there is a button "change password" in the bar where the Edit account button is.
is that working for you? i use that button with no problems.

i'm having the same issue, i tried to search those messages in the logs and never found them.
i think the graphs are not accurate or there is something bugged there.

Yes you can, just dont setup the password when you create the accounts, just create them without the password.
Then search for the account and change the password one by one.

confirmed that if you turn off the zimbra milter system goes back to normal, no problems attaching files, but i dont have distribution list security without that.

well, is a very annoying bug, multiple clients of mine use outlooks and thunderbirds and all of them have trouble when they send attachements bigger than 3MB.
