No more Canonical Address.. and now?
I'm scared of this becoming a problem for us. We have all our accounts created as studentID@domain.edu with aliases and canonical addresses for each user of first.last@domain.edu so that users log in via their ID number (as they are stored in LDAP) but send and receive mail through their first.last ...

[SOLVED] Upgrade from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2 trashed web UI
Had this problem as well.
chown -R zimbra:zimbra /opt/zimbra/nginx-0.5.37-zimbra/proxy_temp*
on our proxy server resolved it.

Commercial Certs for Multi-Server Install
Awesome. Thanks for the help.
Do you happen to know of any documentation for just adding a https cert via the cli? I don't want to damage any self-signed certs in the process?
Also, should the cert go on the proxy server, or should it go on the mailstore that the proxy server is directing to?

Commercial Certs for Multi-Server Install
That wiki page does have some information on command line options (unfortunately I am not using any of those cert vendors), but it doesn't have much information in terms of multi-server requirements - i.e. if I can use the web interface, what kind of certs I need for each node, if I need wildcard ce...

Commercial Certs for Multi-Server Install
I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I can't seem to find much about it in forum posts or the documentation. We recently moved from a single server install to a multi server install. With our single server, all I did to generate CSRs and install certs was use the web interface. With...

Exporting/Importing LDAP in Zimbra 6
Also, (completely guessing with the syntax) running: slapd -q -b "" -F /opt/zimbra/data/ldap/cn=config -cv -l ldap.bak
results in: slapadd: slap_init no backend for ""

Exporting/Importing LDAP in Zimbra 6
From the looks of things, the documentation for exporting and importing ldap in 5.x seems to be deprecated in 6: Exporting and Importing Zimbra LDAP Data » Zimbra :: Blog From poking around, it looks like ldap information is now stored in /opt/zimbra/dada/ldap. I cannot figure out, though, how to...

Change Password URL
I'm not sure if that will work for me. From what I read about zimbraPublicServiceHostname is that it will change REST URLs for briefcase, document, calendar, etc. The site I want "Change Password" to point to is an entirely separate server from our Zimbra install (it just handles password ...

Change Password URL
I was hoping someone could tell me a method to change the URL that zimbra points to when a user clicks "Change Password" It looks like this process is handled by the following: // Popup the change password dialog. ZmPreferencesPage.prototype._changePasswordListener = function(ev) { var url...

How many uses for multi-server install?
I currently manage a single server install on an ESX host using SATA SAN storage. We support approximately 8000 accounts (6000 have logged in within the last 90 days). We've begun to experience some issues with sluggishness both on the web UI and command line management. I was hoping for some input ...
