Re: Question about a RFE

Meanwhile, I've received some (positive) feedback on the RFE, which I'm somewhat excited about.

Question about a RFE

Hi, a while ago, I submitted a ticket and an RFE was created. However, I have received no feedback about the RFE. Initially, I thought the dockerized version of Zimbra /for on-premise deployment) will become available at some point, which would have eliminated the need for this RFE. As this is likel...

Zimbra Cloud - why is there no on-prem version?

Hi, title says it all. Is it really that complicated to setup? Or what is the reasoning behind this? It also does make we wonder about the future of the "legacy" on-premise Zimbra - simply because while the code-base may be largely the same, having to support so many different versions may...

Zimbra behind load-balancer (in cloud environments)

Hi, a long time ago, because I didn't realize it during testing, I tried running Zimbra (multi-server install) behind a haproxy/nginx configuration. This worked terribly in production, because Zimbra needs to know the IPs of the clients that connect to it do various brute-force protection tricks (th...

Re: Large amount of redologs

No, no NG modules at all.

The redo logs go away after 24h, when the full backup runs.

It's just that they were really large.

The following night, I had to add space to partition again.

Large amount of redologs

Hi,

I got a relatively large amount of redo logs today.
So much so that I had to extend the lvm of zimbra twice.

Is there a way to see what was causing that amount of transactions?

Re: Zimbra 8.7/8.8 official repositories for Red Hat 7.5

Hi, I dare say: would it have been too much to publish a repo that can be sync'ed directly with reposync? I found that I need to sync repos with reposync and then run mkrepo afterwards. So, for the OP, I would suggest doing what the article says and then run mkrepo on the resulting repository and th...

Zimbra Ransomware written in Python targets Zimbra Mail Store

Not sure what to make of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/4paxwx/zimbra_ransomware_written_in_python_targets/ Would be interesting to know the exact version that individual was running and if a detailed post-mortem was done to find the cause of the compromise. It's a single, isolated...

zimbraHttpSSLNumThreads - how many used up?

Hi,
where can I see how many of the number of zimbraHttpSSLNumThreads I have used up currently?

In the access_logs of jetty, I only find access-logs.
How is that supposed to work.

(we're still running 5.0.9, unfortunately).

Thanks in advance.
