I guess they didn't want to create a zimbra-patch package for the rest of the multi-node servers just so that they show the same version everywhere.

We can probably consider this an "out-of-band" patch.

We've had a strange case yesterday where a use sent a mail and it apparently appeared in his inbox over and over again (as new message) until he was out of quota.

Unplanned outages are rare, yes.

But due to the fact that updates can't be rolled back, we have to shutdown the platform, close the firewall, snapshot the VMs, upgrade, test and then re-enable access for customers.
